Special advice Darker evenings Now that the darker evenings are upon us there is a strong likelihood that burglaries could increase due to homes being left unoccupied and in darkness. Now that the clocks have gone back, people can be arriving home from work to a house in darkness. The purpose of this message is not to cause alarm, but to advise householders to take sensible precautions. In particular:
