26 Sep 2006 Survey for Affordable Housing
At the public meeting held on 15th September the Parish Council undertook to contact all parishioners to answer two key questions about Affordable Housing for the parish: (a) whether we should have any affordable housing at all, and (b) where it should be built. The Council is proposing that the parish should support the provision of 6-8 affordable houses as identified in the housing needs survey conducted in 2003, and that these houses should be built on the are known as is Site 2A - along Bullington Lane.
A summary of the survey results will be presented at the Parish Council meeting on 17 October. To reduce the cost of the questionnaire, the Council is distributing only one form to each household in the parish, but the form can be completed to show the number of people in the household who agree or disagree with the Council's proposals.
