• 04/09/06 - Longparish: Vehicle which was parked in the road outside property was broken into and items removed.
• 04/09/06 - Forton Hill, Forton: Laptop and cheque book stolen possible access through window.
• 04/09/06 - West Road, Barton Stacey: Vehicle parked in layby had windows smashed.
• 04/09/06 - Upper Bullington, Sutton Scotney: Vehicle parked outside house broken into overnight and items removed

Special advice

Vehicle crime is a constant problem and often committed by the opportunist. Please ensure that items are stored out of sight when not with your vehicle, either in the glove compartment or in the boot of your car. Despite various advertising campaigns and posters people still leave handbags, shopping bags and even laptop computers on the back seats of their cars, which is an open invitation to these criminals.

With another welcome spell of warm weather we are all once again opening our windows to enjoy the cool breeze, please however remember this when popping out, if there is no one at home then secure your doors and windows before you go.
