Opportunity for you to sponsor a unique charity production with the Barton Babes

On the off chance you were on a different planet last December, the Barton Babes are a group of local girls who, in a brief lapse of common sense, decided at very short notice to produce a 2006 calendar, with all proceeds going to charity.

They got to work and in a little under 3 weeks they were hosting the launch party of the first Barton Babes calendar in their local, The Swan Inn, Barton Stacey.

Following fantastic support from local businesses, groups, and individuals it soon became obvious that the girls were on target to raise an amount of cash that would exceed all our expectations.

Now, spurred on by their success, and against all sensible advice, the girls are set to do it all again for 2007. Only this time, uncharacteristically, they are getting organised!

Determined to better their 2006 result, a very impressive £1,800 donated to charity, they are now looking for sponsors willing to provide the necessary early funding to get this year’s ball rolling.

As a sponsor you will have your business card (or similar) scanned and printed onto the cover of the calendar, you will receive a complimentary copy of the 2007 Barton Babes calendar, and if that wasn’t enough, you will be invited to attend the launch night to be held in the Swan Inn on the evening of Friday 8th December.

This year’s charity is The Andover Crisis and Support Centre, a local refuge for women and children suffering from domestic violence.
