You can use this page to add an item - news or event - on any subject - but it should relate to some aspect of Barton Stacey parish or the people live, work, or just have have an interest there.

Guidance

Filling in the form

You need to give information about your item in three ways

Title

A one line title - this appears in the heading for the item, like the heading above which says 'Filling in the form'. Don't include the date/time/place in the title - these will be added automatically

Summary

A two-three line summary - this appears in the index alongside the image for the item, and can be used to give the key points of the item.

Detail

The full text body - this will be displayed when you click on the heading or on the image.

To begin a new paragraph you can either type the characters *p* or just press the return key.

For events, don't include the date, time, or place in the detail - these will be added automatically automatically from the other information.

Date

The date of the event. Just give date month year - for example 30/May/2003. Don't give the day of the week - this will be added automatically.

Time

The start time of the event. Just give hour minute and am or pm - for example 10:00 am

Completing the form

All relevant parts of the form must be completed, and incomplete forms will not be accepted.

We do not accept items which directly advertise or promote any business, trade, or commercial activities.   We do not accept items which are not legal, decent, honest,and truthful!

When you have completed the form click on the button marked Send to send your item, or click Clear to clear everything you have typed.
